Does anyone remember their time spent riding a bus in grade school? I remember all of the cacophany of riding the bus to an from school. That one kid that had something to say about everyone. The bully that couldn't wait to pick on anyone. The girl that all of the guys crushed on? What about the random arguments and debates over nothing. And lastly, the group of kids that played UNO whenever there was a spare moment to deal the cards. All that activity makes for one noisy bus. Well, officials within an Arizona school district, allowed a company call Autonet Mobile, the same company that is putting in-car WiFi in GM vehicles, install a hot spot on some test school buses, and the results shows that a lot of the bad behavior was quelled in favor of kids updating statuses on Facebook, browsing the web, and getting homework done. If you are the person that was almost always last minute on the homework assignment you would appreciate a bus with a hotspot. This is not a bad ideas since more students have devices that are WiFi enabled. I can't say that I would want my child to advertise that he has devices on the bus because there is that problem of theft. That one kid who stills everything would definitely be window shopping on a WiFi enabled bus. I am just saying. There are some perks, but certain school districts may do better with the same old environment.
