Hope YOU Can "Change" Mr. President

President Obama isn’t really enjoying a good one year anniversary especially since he had to digest the victory of Republican Scott Brown surprising win in the Massachusetts Senatorial race. Also the President has decided to shift his priorities on the economy and jobs but his speech sent the stock market crashing in its worst showing since last October. I’m not a skilled politician but I just have a few things to tell the President of the United States if he really wants to validate his presidency.
1. Take control of your agendas and don’t let Henry Reid or Nancy Pelosi dictate what you want because they are not in line with you best interest. If you are to go down, go down making decisions you believe in and changes you want to make. You’re making the same mistakes President Bush made by trusting others to do the right thing when things got bad they bailed out on him.
2. Stop trying to please everyone around the world and worry about pleasing the people in your country. You take care of your house first and foremost, and then you worry about helping your neighbors. The President of the United States shouldn’t worry about what people in other country think of him except for his own people. Stop believing in your own hype because the people have quit drinking your kool-aid. Too much rhetoric and not enough substance.
3. A terrorist is a terrorist and not an American citizen. Treat him like an enemy combatant and not a citizen with rights. When a terrorist desires to kill American civilians while forgoing any considerations about the collateral damage means that technically that he should also forego his rights as a citizen. Give him to the military and they know how to deal with him/her.
4. Listen to the people who put you in power and remember they can remove you from power as fast as they did the latter. You are building a bubble just like President Bush did and It’s going to be your downfall. You were elected to control the financial situation in this country because people thought that Senator McCain follow the example left by President Bush. For some reason you put the health care bill as a priority in your agenda. Putting food on the table; or having a table to put food on, is more of a priority to most than going to the doctor.
5. Jobs, jobs, jobs are what matters for us. Being able to provide housing, food, clothing, day care, health care for ones family is the most important concern for most Americans and it’s possible with a good job. Health care, cap and trade, closing of Guantanamo Bay, climate control in Copenhagen, arguing with banks even though they upset us, is not what preoccupy us.
Being President of the United States is a privilege and very prestigious job. You inherited a bad situation but it’s no reason to lead this great country with a mindset of trying to please everyone. Whether you like it or not this country is a centralist country leaning toward the right so if you doesn’t humble yourself and change your course you are heading for total failure. I’m a firm believer in adjusting on the run and I hope you can do it and change because if you can’t adjust; yes you will be a one-term President. In an independent survey 38% of American claim to be independent, 34% consider themselves conservatives and only 21% consider themselves liberals. Just like Senator Scott Brown; it’s the independents that got you in power not the liberals. So if you’re ready to be a one term President keep your current agenda and be prepared to be a lame duck President for three years.
