Is the CrunchPad Ready For Production And Consumers?

The CrunchPad concept has been widely followed by tech enthusiasts for quite some time seems to be close to a production model. The device will carry an atom processor which is the same processor that is used in netbooks, and will be used strictly for web browsing. The price point for this device is going to be close to the $299 range which is reasonable. I believe that this device will come in handy for those individuals who like to browse the internet while relaxing in the bed or web surfing while watching TV. This device can hang out on your night stand waiting for you to maybe check your rss feed, do a little online shopping, or check your email. There is great potential for the CrunchPad to be a great consumer device. I , for one, am hoping that this device goes into production, because it will be as good as mine. The only question that I have for myself is when to purchase this device. I had plans of purchasing a Mac Mini soon, but with the announcement of the Kindle price drop, and the possible release of the CrunchPad, I am so undecided.
